EVER USE THIS FOR TUNING MOTORS?

Never used one. That colortune has been around for a long long time. Considering its only suitable for adjusting the idle mixture, I can't see springing for it. I just set my mixture for the peak lean mixture. Turn in until it starts to stumble, then just rich enough to bring it back up to peak. Its a lot easier to get a visual on this with engines that have a tap for a vacuum gauge. You can then set it for peak lean vacuum. The "perfect" setting is going to change anyhow with changes in ambient air temperature and barometric conditions.

Funny I was just looking at it today. But I'm probably buying the MotionPro carb sync but mainly because I can get it locally the next day and I've got a guy who needs the carbs on his Goldwing tuned. Looks like a nice piece but they haven't updated their website in a long time. Plus MotionPro makes great stuff and has great customer support. Some small companies come up with something great and then they vanish.

However I think a carb sync would be totally useless for single carb engines, they are meant for syncing multi carb engines. Unless you wanted to sync 4 three wheelers together. I wonder if you synced 4 three wheelers if they would start to resonate in the frequency of bas ass.
