i am wondering if anyone knows of any product that would be for preserving rubber overtime. i have a 1982 185s that is in 100% OEM perfect condition. I am just keeping it and storing it as a show piece unless i get the right offer. So i need something to keep the pegs, grips, and all the rubber parts soft overtime. any help would be great. thanks.

Amour All?
Ozone from electric motors or other spark generating devices and sunlight are deadly to rubber.

Other reading says silicone grease or spray.

really any kind of grease or oil will protect it. it just depends how you want it to look. you can glob grease on it and leave it forever and as long as its smothered no air will get to it and nothing will hurt it. for a show piece though i would figure armor all or something similar will work. youll have to re apply it though.

This may sound completely absurd to most....but:
Get 4 big pieces of plexiglass. Encase the trike. Suck oxygen out of it. No rust (no oxygen to oxidize metal), no outside damage, and it will look good encased in glass, or plexiglass even.
Use basic cheap items to do it, maybe even aquarium silicone.
