I will be re-assembling my tri z project soon...my question is.....does the engines cooling system really need to be controlled by a thermostat ? I don't believe the R or tecate has a thermostat in there cooling system. I know it can be bypassed by simply removing the thermostat, but is there any way to rid it of that ugly T casting. Or should I just leave it as is with the thermostat in place? To me it seems like it's just something else to fail. Thanks!
