so I took my big red 200 on a rough 90mile trail ride and I notice now at slow speeds there is a squeek when I turn slow and sharp. it rides normal and does not do anything odd even at high speed but there is a squeek on turns now! I have not gave it a super hard look yet but what do you guys think? thanks!

Most likly a loose wheel hub but check the axle nuts while your at it .

My big red did that when a bearing or seal started to go out then got progressively worse and louder as time went on. Put the rear end up on a block or jack and shake the rear axle to see how tight the seals and bearings are. If there bad there should be exessive axle play. But check the axle nut too like shortline10 said I've had that problem too.

if it's got drum brake could be that too maybe when you turn is pullin the front brake in a little bit but idk.

Let me get this straight, you took a 90 mile trail ride. I bet that took a couple hours, eh? But you can't take 20 minutes to go out and look at your own trike for a squeak? And you'll come on here and ask people who never even heard your trike squeak what the squeak is? Wow. I'll be watching to see how this thread turns out. Best of luck. Let me take a stab at this though, how about fender rub? What do we win if we guess the right answer? LOL

when I got it home it was dark and I was tired of driving. I dont live where its stored so ive not had a chance to inspect it. it has drum brakes front and rear. so ill check for looser wheel bolts, the 4 up front? il lift the back and try and shake the axle front to rear or side to side? it is not fender rub cuz its to high pitched. keep the guesses coming! and she was awesome on the ride! next morning fired right up barely touched the estart! purred along. but I wont lie I did beat it well almost getting bucked over the bars hitting huge ruts.

Well, make sure to keep up the maintenance on it and you should be good to go. Change your oil and clean your filter screen. Keep your clutch and brakes properly adjusted. Lubricate you brake cables and braking pivot points. Keep your chain properly tensioned and lubricated and check it for wear also. Keep your airfilter clean. Don't forget to keep your engine properly timed and keep an eye on your spark plug. Routine maintenance should also be to check for wear in your bearings and to make sure all front and rear axle fasteners are properly tightened up to spec. Hopefully it's nothing major, but the little hondas are pretty simple to work on so it shouldn't be anything major either way. Keep up with your trikes maintenance and it won't fail you. That is a problem with alot of these trikes members buy on here. Previous owners not keeping up with or doing proper maintenance. Best of luck with your trike. Don't forget to post if you find out what is making the squeak and what you do to fix it.

Well, just don't forget to still keep the maintenance going. Alot of trikes on here haven't ridden that far in a long time, if ever.

That's the way to show them how it's done. If you are going to do alot more riding like that, you should get yourself some racks, front and rear. Check the classifieds on here or check ebay. It would be a good investment for you.

Yeah, I think it's kinda silly to ask us what the noise is. We can't even hear it.
