So a little about this. Picked up 2 trikes (84/85) for $450 total w/a parts frame minus motor (84). he evening i pushed them in the garage i said i'll get one running. Sure enough the 85 started, but ran bad and smoked. The 84 no spark so the 85 bacame the first project.

These trikes were sitting in a leaking garage for a long time. Decided to get it running well without spending a fortune. "Well" as you guys know i reached my max limit i set for myself to spend, but i don't plan to sell anytime soon anyway. ( I know many may say WHY didn't you paint it). I striped it to the frame minus removing the streeing stem. Every single nut and bolt i had to touch was cleaned of rust and put back together with luberplate. I had 3 bolts break on me and 1 strip out. Not bad. The engine looked pretty decent inside, cycl walls are clean and vitually no top lip on cycl. Valves looked good and replaced valve seals. Replaced the clucthes and barings in the swingarm.

After this was all put back together and i kicked it about 10 times. It fired right up and maintained an idle!!! That has never been the case with many of the other things i have worked on. It was awesome that all i had to do was make minor carb adjustments. It will start on the first kick 90% hot or cold.

Things i still need to address:
Rockers are a bit chatty at the moment.
Rebuild Calipers
Paint Skid plate
Replace front hub barings
Shock seals.
Attach tool box
New front tire.

I will finish these things over the summer and this 200x will be headed to Hatfield & McCoy trails (Pinnical) in the fall.
