Really that is the name of the game when it comes to Ebay. I do it myself to get deals. You just have to be quicker than the other guy.

The trick is to bid more than you think they will at 4 or 5 seconds. Most people bid in $5 increments, so you have to bid higher. The last thing I won, there was 1 bid, and I put in a bid at 6 seconds I got the bid for $1.50 more than than the 1st bid. But there was still 3 seconds and the other bidder bid higher, but not higher than my first bid. So luckily I still won the item. But for $20 more than if I had bid at 3 seconds instead of 7 seconds. I'm not going to lie, it's kind of addicting. I never bid on an item until the end of the auction.
Make sure your ebay account has recently been relogged into, I lost a bid once by Ebay kicking me back to the login screen when I put in my bid at the very end of the auction.

I just spent the better part of the day sniping BR parts auctions:Bounce, thats about the only way to win 'em. I won 23 of about 30/35 auctions. I got a ton of good deals, like front axle for $0.99, front tire (great shape) on the hub with break parts for $24.00 and the best part is they live not to far away so no S&H.

Guys i found the trick. Here is what you do.Its called an automatic bidder. Its built into ebay lol.Few people know bout it.All you have to do is type in the most money you are willing to spend. Then it will add $1 each time someone bids so it bids for you.Thats how i always win lol someone bids something like a second before it ends but my automatic bidder can bid quicker lol.

Yes, we know about that. But why let it automatically bid up to your $100 max bid, when you can snipe it at 4 seconds for $50? That's why you wait til the end of the auction. If there is 1 bid it will lull the 1 bidder into thinking he's got it. The trick is to bid at 4 seconds or so with a bid that YOU think is higher than his bid. Just because there is 1 bid at $25 doesn't mean he didn't bid $50. So when you snipe it a 4 seconds throw in your max bid, and you will get it. Or if the 1 bidder just bid $25 as his max bid, he won't have the time to outbid you when you bid higher.
