So ive known where this one was for awhile now, i just wasnt that interested in it for $300. Well the guy calls me and says he wants a GPS, so i got him a $100 Garmin NUVI and swapped.

Its a 1984 ATC200S. Runs ok, but needs the boot between the engine and carb. It really needs a new tank. Someone put a liner in it and the liner is peeling.

Pics...This will either be my wives or the chop up for a 2 wheeler.

Nasty tank. Have to push the liner up before putting gas in it.

Think my wife has pretty much claimed it.

Don't chop it, put a bit of cash into it and shine it up :)

Fenders don't look too bad, so they could probably be sanded up and repainted.

New seat, some handlebar grips, new intake boot, new shock boots, a bit of polish and it'll be looking good :)

Ive got the intake boot all sealed up with RTV right now. It runs good, been riding it around the yard.

Alright, so ive got to find some way to clean up the inside of the tank. It looks to have been coated with Kreem, but a poor prep job was done. Its falling off at the top. This is causing a problem with the gas getting on top of the coating and not into the bottom. Im thinking about just sticking some pliers in there and starting to pull at the stuff. I already tried to fit a 125M tank on there and it wont work. Maybe a XR200R tank will fit and work for now?

It amazes me how much of a difference there is between the Big Red and the 200S. It is so much more fun out on my trails. I keep looking at my junk XR200 and thinking, how hard would it be to fit that Pro Link on here.
