so far the front sproket is awol but all the plastics are good , one crack in the headlight shroud and one tear in the seat and a small crack in the frame , i think its fixable though also the rear of the frame has a bend to the left side , it looks like its supposed to be that way ? maybe room for the exhaust ?

if you cant post pics in the "manage attachments" link then make a photobucket, post them there then use the IMG code and paste them here. cracked and bent frame.... sounds pretty beat on lol.

i think the bend in the frame is supposed to be there it looks pretty symetrical to have been caused by a crash
now im wondering how it will compare to my 86 200X , the quad will probably end up getting bored and im thinking wheel spacers on all 4 wheels ?

why waste your money on spacers.
1 the quad isnt fast enough to need them
2 your used to a trike, that extra wheel will be such an improvement on stability you wont know what to do with yourself. lol
get it bored for a fresh cylinder surface, get new piston and rings. maybe a high compression piston for a little extra power.
take the airbox lid off and buy a cheap pipe (neighbor had a cobra) and jet it properly and it will be plenty fun.
no sence on making a racer out of a old little quad. but if you wanted to, look for cams and carb to go with the other mods i said
also maybe get a nice set of tires on the rear. stock tires are 21 inches i believe. try to find a set of razrs or holeshots your size

yeah, if its all new stuff and is a kit that sounds goood. make sure you get your gaskets and seals and everything your going to need. is the piston any higher compression than stock? either way it sounds like a deal.
also a big improvement you can make is be sure the shocks arnt blown, than will ruin the handling of any machine. since its old and worn make sure the shocks are still good. if not the rebuild them if they are buildable or look for good condition used ones on ebay
the rear shock is usually the first to go
oh and who makes the kit?

G & H discount atv supply
send in your old cylinder for core charge its blasted cleaned , the works. the kit comes with all gaskets, rings pins, circlips and and oversized piston , it doesnt specify how much they can bore ? it does say old cylinder cant be any larger than 2nd size up that you mail in. and i was off its more like 180.00 shipped

well hopefully your cylinder is at stock bore right now, and hopfully they only have to go to the next size up. only go up as little as you can while getting a fresh cylinder surface. that way if it breaks later down the road it can be bored again.
