'85 Big Red

I picked up another trike, even though I don't really need it! 1985 250ES, Big Red. It's in ok shape, some cracks in the plastics and the racks have some bends. Someone used a lot of red spray paint on it; I spilled some gas and it was melting it! The tires are good and it came with a set of good taillights not installed. The seller was not able to get it running and was asking $300; I got it for $250. I put back together all the unplugged electrical including a new spark plug wire that came with it, added gas to the tank and had it running fine within ten minutes of getting it home. I ordered the parts already to rebuild the front forks and will likely do the brakes too. I'll try to run it this summer and figure out what else needs to be done. If I have the time I may rebuild it completely next winter and sell it to my brother. (He just got a 200x and is not sure if he likes to clutch) Pics of it are with my dirty SX.

Here's why the SX was so dirty along with my brothers 200x; about 22 miles through woods and marsh on Fourth of July weekend.

what's wrong with the front-end as I just got a 1985 atc 250ES? and it's mostly there but engine and tran.s is shot and someone started pulling the rear axle apart.

The front boots are ripped up and both forks are leaking fluid badly.
