Well im getting married here on the 24th. So ive been prettying up the YT's for some unique pics. I started off sanding my 175 plastics. Then for some reason i started on my spare set. They were very faded and well just looked like crap, Started with a 150 grit and went up to 600 on this one so far. The difference is drastic. I did half of the rear plastics to show the difference. I had quite a few PM's asking me questions last time about how they looked before i started sanding them. So i did a 50/50 this time to show. Now im not looking for that OEM look. Dont care about shiny, just dont want it to look like i pulled it out of some dumpster. I have achieved that i feel. although i will be sanding (alot) more. i felt it was good enough to show some pics. Oh and yes there is some moisture on them, it rained alot here in the last week, i did not wet them to make them look better FYI.

If you cant tell what side is done and which is not you need help....

Now i have my wifes yt125 to do. This machine has been kept inside since day one, so the plastics are in great shape still with very little sunfade. But it does have a bunch of marks from shoes and stuff touching the fender when kids or whatever got on it and rubbed it. Is there anyway to get these marks off with out sanding? any tricks? i would prefer to not sand these ones as they are in great shape and still have that shine. Would a pencil eraser do anything? i dont have one on hand or i would just try. but i dont wanna go buy one if it dont work. i dont write, i type, lol. So i have no need for an eraser in the house.... here's some pics of what im talking about...

Get some real fine steel wool or a dish scrub pad and some Armor All. Spray the fenders and or the steel wool/scrubber down and scrub the black marks! This will also smooth out the plastics you hit with sand paper. It will make them look new!

WD gives it a shine, but for some reason it does not last long. The Armor All has always worked really well for me. It seems to replinish the plastic. Just my experience though.

Need some Mr-moto atv quick polish for the 125...think that's what it was called...Works good for marks just takes some rubbing with a terry cloth...ill see exactly what it is tomorrow..Worked real good on my Z rear fenders....

Get yourself a variable speed polisher/grinder and some 3M Finesse It. It will remove light scratches and make them shiny again. My T-3 fenders were sunfaded and that's all I needed to do to make them new again.
