I've looked all over and threw all my early mags and can't figure out who makes this frame :wondering. The closest frame I can compare it to is a pauter but the pauter is a little different at the bearing carrier . Its very well built and the zinc plating still looks salvageable threw the hand brushed silver  LOL . It came with a really nice set of gold tripples and suspended front forks .
Hope someone can figure it out for me . :beer

Shortline: So it isnt a Bandito afterall? Get a pic of those forks up here. From the pics the guy sent me they looked good, but they were not the best pictures. Looks like you scored on the frame. Does Veal not know what it is??

I guess I could post a pic of the forks if you wanna see LOL . Their fairly rare to , with the smaller 31mm gold triples that use Honda xl forks instead of the sl's .
I also picked up the old school seat in really nice condition shens.

Had a member emailed me saying the frame is possibly a low production Pauter PJ1 racing frame from the lube company PJ1 . :wondering I think their are to many similarities for it not to have come from the pauter factory .

Pic of the front suspension and the frame after I cleaned the silver paint off . Nice condition for a 30 year old frame .

^Throw some grey paint on it and it'll look completely modern!

No thankx on a trade .

This frame is just getting more strange . Took some measurements and its a PLUS 4 1/2 " over stock so I'm thinkin it must be some custome deal from pauter , 99% of these i've seen are only 2 inch extended .

Hey shortline, I have a set of trees just like yours but I'm having a heck of a time trying to find out EXACTLY what those forks are from. Mine are 31 mm also and you say Honda xl. Can you shed any better info on just what year and model xl? I've sent your pictures to a guy on ebay who has a motorcycle junkyard but so far, he's at a loss. Thanks for any help......zeeker

No I never found out what they were off of but someone did mention 1980's yz80 forks were a possibility .
90crazy is the owner of these forks now so maybe he figured it out .
