hey, ive had my 200x on craigslist for a while and someone just called me and offered to trade a 1985 kawasaki tecate 3 for it all the tecate needs is a piston and rings. does anyone know where i can find a piston and rings for not too much?

Not trying to be rude but, maybe you could try posting your questions in one thread instead of having several all relating to the same thing. It makes it much easier for you and everyone else to keep up with.

I usually find mine on ebay.
Um...you would have to have the cylinder off and figure out if it is plated or sleeved and then check bore size and condition before you could ever attempt to buy the piston.

how can i tell if its plated or sleeved? whats the difference? and i believe it is a standard bore... thanks and do i need a different piston whether its sleeved or plated?
