I have a 83' 200x. The front brake system was not working so I took it apart to investigate. I noticed that the master cylinder does not let the brake fluid flow into the brake hose and down into the caliper. I took the master cylinder apart and cleaned it out, but it was already pretty clean and nothing was obstructing the flow. With the piston assembly out of the master cylinder, if I pour brake fluid into it, the fluid will flow down and into the hose. But with the piston installed, it seems to block the fluid from going into the hose. even if I push the piston in and out, I can't get any fluid down into the hose. Does anyone know what is going on here? If it makes a difference, the master cylinder is not a stock 200x master cylinder, I think it might be off a 250r or something.
Also, you know those hondaline atc speedometers. Did they make a different speedometer for each model with different part numbers? Or did they use the same one for each different model?
Thanks,
ATC Dude
