350x bulbs

I was going thru my dennis kirk catalog looking for 350x bulbs, I saw the part number was the same for the trx400ex. can I use a higher watt bulb on the 350x because there's one offered for the 400ex. I'd really like to get the blue bulbs for it. anyone have any ideas?

Be carefull putting hight wattage bulbs in. Honda sized the lighting coils pretty close to the bulbs used stock. A higher wattage bulb might burn out the lighting system. I checked with Ricky Stator one time about a bigger lighting coil for a 350X, and he did not make one.

My 1 350x bulb is out...actually, only the high beam works, not the low. Where can I get a new bulb? I head of people going to Walmart for one...think I'll find one there?

You have to go to a bike shop most parts houses dont carry the bulb.I paid about $19 as it is a halegen bulb 8)

I stuck a spare 400ex headlight bulb into 1 of my 350X and it works fine, and the 400ex bulbs are a lot cheaper than the 350X bulbs :-D
