going to try to put this mostly back to stock with the additions of some polished parts and other little changes but nothing major. Project started out with just needing a swing arm but decided to take it down and redo it all. after looking at the frame someone really messed the frame up. motor mounts in rear was bent really bad(probably stuck swingarm bolt) and numerous other things bad on the frame. Picked up an 85 frame should get it back from powder tomorrow to start assembly. I painted and cleared the swingarm and new pivot bearings installed....i can already see this is going to be a long road lol but should be worth it. and in the first picture its the one hiding in the back by the wall...acts like it dont want to get tore down. haha and the last one is were its left after todays work. feel free to leave tips and tricks that you know of. maybe looking for some brake parts in the future fyi

on a trike note, i just began the 87 teardown today. mine looks pretty much just like the last picture. rode it real good today to show it that its truly loved and this time apart is for the best.

on the truck not it can get out the front door by about 5-6 inches and up those are d44 high pinion and a 9" lol 79 bronco drivetrain..
well got the frame and motor mounts back from powder today. took the rad. off and all the brackets and blasted and painted all the brackets and foot pegs tonight. had to wait on the rad. to dry so i can touch them up a bit. just for info..pretty much all the paint i am using is from napa(used to work there so i can mix it myself and get it cheaper lol) just standard base coat clear. trying to decide if i want to polish the bottom tripple and fork sliders or to have someone polish them any ideas thoughts??....or what is the best way to get the factory look back? here is how it sits as of tonight.
