i got the $$$ rounded up and worked a paypal deal this evenin with the seller, half down and the other half on Friday- payday. I plan on using it one day on my new bottom end. Only wondering- what was the cost of the last new in the box on ebay or whatever? Im thinking $700-$800. I got pics on my phone but cant get them on the computer, got a pic of the paperwork too. I need to pinch my self- my buddy with a blown 300kit on his bike said he would punch me instead. Take a look at my classifed listing so i can afford the other half....

i guess my local dealler had nine 86 250's in the crates up till '96. the kid who bought the second to last in '88 bought the last eight years later and its still in the crate. No iv never seen it and WILL get pics. -oldtoys- you will see many pics of my new toy, didn't even plan that pun hehe. Its like the breif case in Pulp Fiction im pretty sure. Oh thats the Mugen kit. Don't know if i would ever be able to afford one of those or be able to do all the correct motor work.

We would all love to see pics, as we've heard similar claims numerous times over the years and only seen 1 come to fruition.

yeah he has a 86 250r in the shipping crate he bought at Coos Bay Honda World. My old boss has seen it and says it in his garage, next to Marilyn Monroe's d-type Jag she signed for 2 days befor she died. the guys had rich parents. oh one more pic for now

That 300 kit in the box shouldn't be installed. Hold on to it and resell it once this economy picks back up.

I won't believe the crated 250R story until I see pics though, I don't care how rich or reputable the guy is. Like I said, only 1 has ever popped up and it took 34 years for it to show up in another enthusiasts hands.

It's not an intake, it's a new carb to airbox boot. You reuse the stock intake but the kit does come with a new main jet for the stock 83-84 R carb.
