ok so long story short .i buddy of mine needed some touch up on some furniture that he has .and tells me if i do it he will give me a honda 125m .so i get it home and the back wheels wont spin so i take the chain off and and they roll fine so the sprocket wont turn i think its a trans .but i have never messed with a 125m .so any pointers or suggestions .like maybe a pin or something.and yes i will post some pics in a few .maybe just take the side casing off of the right side and see what i find .lol

Is it in neutral? Sorry, had to ask...
I would start by taking the sub-trans off and see if anything is obviously messed up in there.

well i open it up on the right side and the is a spring on the top left side facing with like a metal arm and it is broke .

From your description, it sounds like the gear selector arm. It has a roller bearing on the end that fits into recesses in the gear drum. The arm can crack and break, leaving the trans stuck in gear or in between gears. If it's broke, you'll need another one. If it's just cracked, it can be welded up - I've fixed a few this way.
