What year bike??? In a 81-82 use a b8es, in a 83 use a br8es, in a 84 you could go with a br8es or 9, and in pumpers do what harryred said. The foolers are a little different and a can be tuned for any plug.
The 84 the compression was raised enough to make a 9 an option. The 81-82 are the same motors but the wireing is different- the stators have different grounds though the wireing harness and you should use a 'r' plud when the bike has a sertain resistance, im not a hundred % sure what how and where.
- i took my bike- an 83- in to get serviced when i first got it and knew nothing and it had a b8es plug and the Honda tech told me all this. I don't spend that kind of money to have a plug changed anymore, errr. thought it was major, i didn't know anything about 2 strokes back then
