I need to know what is the correct/current kehien number for the stock jet needle for 85 250r PE37A carb. The needle has a 28v on it and I cant convert this number for the life of me. I need to go 1 step leaner, any help would be appereciated.

hmmm. the 28v is stock for the 85. sounds like you already tried to raise the clip to the first notch. Do you want a leaner needle or ? I would call the honda dealer monday morning for the # for a leaner needle

i thought the stock carb is a pe 34... not 37- of which i think the needle is a 'deg' . what are you leaning out? the length, taper, or diameter? find out if you got a pe 34 or not. It goes a-b-c a=taper b= length c= diameter if you want a leaner needle, i.e. a longer needle or fatter diameter. for a longer length go with a dfg for a bigger diameter go with a deh.- correct me if i am wrong - i have just recently learn all this

Yeah its a PE37A. Talked to Honda 2 days ago, they had no clue how to conver that #, Needle clip is all the way up and it, tried every clip and low end load up noticably improves as I moved the clip up, I'm just about where I want to be, I'm thinking same length, steeper taper, bigger dia needle. Thanks.
