Picked up another one

So the one-way bearing on my 250sx is gone and I'm waiting on the new one to come in but I'm supposed to be headed to the trails in a few days to ride with some buddies. I start searching craigslist for something I can buy that will run and I can take. I come across a listing for a 250sx that the seller wants $550 for but the ad has no pictures and very little information. I send the seller a message offering $400 IF it is a decent runner and doesn't have anything that I have to fix right away. I also request some pictures. I quickly get an email back with a phone number and it says to call. I call the guy and he asks me when I want to come get it. I asked him what was wrong with it and he said nothing except a dent in the gas tank where his buddy wrecked it but he had a plastic replacement tank he would throw in. He sent me one crappy picture that was really dark and blurry. He lived about 2 1/2 hours away but I figured I would take a ride anyway and see what it was full well expecting it not to be as he described it.

I get there to meet the guy and he rolls it off the trailer and thumbs the electric start and it fired right up and purred. I took it through the parking lot and hit all the gears and then checked out reverse. Everything worked like a charm. Kick start is good, both back and front brakes are good, parking brake is good, headlight and tail light are good, fenders are nice except for the one small crack and it has pretty much new rims and tires. I gave the guy the $400 and loaded it on the trailer.

So now I have 3 1/2 250sx's in my back yard. I think I did pretty well with this one.

Yep and it works too. And it has the original seat and it is in perfect condition. Oh and it has the tow hitch too, I just need to throw a ball on it.

BTW, I sent you a pic of that fender but I never heard back from you.
