Does anybody know if you can run the 74-78 style rear fenders on a 79-80 110. I like the look of those better.
They look like they would interchange. I don't know anybody that has a 74-78 ATC that I could test fit. Will the 79-80 seat pan work? I know the seats are styled slightly different....hoping the seat pans are interchangable.

Thanks for any info!

How it works is the fenders are pretty much interchangable, but you have to use the proper year seat pan for the same year fenders. I've even seen people use the 83, 84, 85 tank and fenders on the earlier frames. Oh, and it helps to use the proper rubber pad as well, the one that goes under gas tank rear tab.

Thanks Vealmonkey, I found a little more info by searching the forum...should of done that first!
I see the 74-78's dont really have a seat pan and attach on the sides were those flaps are and the bottom... looks like they have two rubber blocks on the underside of the fenders instead of just one. I was hoping that the 79-82 seat pan would bolt right on.
I'm not sure If its worth the extra hassle to switch at this point.
I prefer the styling on the ATC 90's but got a great deal on the 79 110.
The plan was to just get it running and ride it but has turned into a full teardown/with custom paint. I'm addicted!
Can't wait to be able to post before/after pics.
