Tanks are fickle.
After spending tons to weld a couple and pay $$ to buy a couple, I got 2 plastic ones for free in a junkyard deal.

depends on your timing and if your old one is really toasted.
Radiator shops can do wonders with bad tanks.

I usually have more time than $$ so I usually start with that notion.

Then again, you may not see another one that nice for months.

The seller is a member here and no way would I pay $150 for a tank that looks like that on the outside. god knows what the inside looks like

i to have to agree for that tank the price is a little high, lately nice tanks are becoming a little pricey, and by nice i mean a bolt on ready to go tank. a tank that needs paint and sealing should only be 50-100 tops and it should have little to no dents.

The 86-87 200X tanks are not all that easy to find but they do appear on ebay every now and then, I personally think think this tank is worth 75 bucks but no more than that because of the dents . I would look for a better one myself..

to answer drjoes question..i do have a tank but its rusted real bad inside and i took it to get fiberglassed cuz of holes and they messed it up...so i need one and i know they are hard to come by...is there any way to barter with people on ebay...wht is the members name so i can look him up...btw the pics show a really clean inside of tank.
