last ride worked out well at Dixon Miller state forest. park ranger suggested one of these trails near bushkill..dont know if its maple run or burnt mills. lots of rocks at dixon miller until the ranger started to let us use the main road in to the forest. the golden parts of the trail.

will be there full force with 350x, 250r, and banshee again. tecates are still in progress and will be that way for a long time to come i'm sure. anyway. if anyone can make it out there cool. if not no worries. we will be out there with a number of guys hanging in the parking lot like we did last time. park rangers were really cool last time. no issues. hoping the same is true because we run FMF pipes and silencers on both 250r and banshee. look for the trikes!

I wouldn't bother with Burnt Mills as its just one 8 mile long trail. The rest is for snowmobiles. I've never been to Maple Run, but if it's the one close to Burnt Mills, it isn't much different (from what I've been told).

I guess your choices are limited, since you're coming from NYC. You could hit up both Burnt Mills and Maple Run the same day since there close enough, but they're consideribly smaller than Dixon Miller. If you're looking to make the trek, I'd try either Potter County or Adams/Cumberland counties as those place have about 35 miles of trails each.

You could always hit the Hazleton area too.

Yeah, I thought about that too, but figured he was looking for state parks.

im cool with anything as long as its safe... not into getting busted... im fully registered and insured so i can go to any of the forests but up for other areas also if its safe... especially private land. no prob... actually im coming from queens but we stay over in pa when we go riding. ill be at saylorsburg and my bro at albrightsville. not looking to go too far away though. where is the hazleton area and what are the arrangements. does denn have his own place to ride? i called all the pay and ride places and none of them will let 3 wheelers in there.

I have ridden in the Hazleton area alot. Its one of those private property areas, but the trails have been there forever. I know the Hazleton area pretty well. I have never had a problems and alot of people ride there. Denn has some killer trails around him to ride also.
I dont think the 18th will work for me(busy weekend), but Im up for a ride in the near future.

anyway you can pm me an address or way to get to these trails? may want to check them out sometime. not sure about the next time i will be out riding. im getting to go two times this summer season which is great. last time before that was like 5-8 years ago - bummer. getting real back into it again though. if these trails are something i can go to through more of the year it may allow me to go riding more often. state forests riding season is over by end of sept.

I ride in the hazelton and tamaqua area. They are all private properties that have boats loads of riders, and it is expected that all treat the property as their own. Never had any issues yet, and have been riding there for over 8 years. It is good fun and safe as you want to be. I would be down for riding any weekened except this wknd coming up, as I'll be in OCMD bike week all wknd.

based on feedback on burnt mills and maple run we are going back to Dixon Miller again... will be there tomorrow with 3 bikes and 5 people. hanging out in parking lot through the day. if anyone can pop over for hanging out and riding that would be cool. otherwise next time.
