85 Tecate carb work on 84 Tecate?

Will the 85 bolt up and work good stock for stock? Will it fit into the intake and filter rubber? I see the 84 has a 230 main and the 85 has a 250.

Yes, it fits right in and works great. I'd also consider it an upgrade as the 84 carb is 32mm and the 85 is 34mm. Its the same carb just slightly bigger for more flow.
