Well, after riding my 200s with the xr200 cam a few times, the cam chain broke. Seems like a good time to do a fall rebuild. This is just a toy and I have other things I would like to spend money on, but I cant pass up an opportunity to upgrade  . Here is my plan:

New Cam Chain - Do I need a new sproket?
66mm 10.25 Piston + Rings into a 200x jug I picked up a little bit ago
Tensioner and gaskets - Where to find cheapest proven set?
Valve work (if needed when apart)

Transmission is fine and I have a couple month old 200x Ebay carb. So, where to get these parts cheapest? Should I pick up some jets a size or two above what I have now? Keep in mind I am at 4,700ft and ride up to 7k ish.

Once I get everything up an running Ill throw on some new tires and enjoy it through the winter. Maybe next summer Ill get a DG exhaust.

I've never needed a cam chain sprocket, the chain stretches.....

I like VESRAH gaskets, thats my choice.

Dennis Kirk has a tensioner kit that may fit your bike (along with a DID chain) - check it out.........

Valve work is not cheap and often overlooked............
