I just bought an 1985 Honda ATC 200x in a month ago and bike is complete and seem is in good shape but the motor blew and i got a best deal on it when i bought it home from Long island, NY. so I am going to looking to buy a nice stock complete motor from an 85 atc 200s or an 86 atc 200s engines because i want to install it and become an AUTOX 200x that is easy for me to ride on.

Is my stock 200x wiring will work fine & start it up with if i get an 200s engine soon.

any tips and any input. that would be a totally great. Thanks Kevin

Hey and welcome to the boards, I know that 200S motor's work in 200X's fine, not sure about the wiring question but I would assume its fine. To post a picture, you have to select the "manage attachments" button below the text box when posting a reply (not a quick reply) or thread and look for it on your computer.

Atc350xer, thanks for add more info. An 1981 to 1983 ATC185s will fit fine same as an 1984 to 1986 atc 200s motor. I would like to find a good running stock motor complete from an 1985 or 1986 atc 200s motor since i like those up shifts foot. if i didnt find it soon or later then i will try to grab 185s motor either ways. Thanks.

Does anyone has pictures of their AUTOX bikes pictures and i would like to get an ideas of it and see what it does look like. any pictures & any angles would be a great.

my ATC 200x will be my first project by this fall & winter project.

My daughters, It's an 85' with an 81' 200s motor. The wiring is simple, ground the green, the rest match up. Advance search 200 auto-x and several members have builds posted. Hers is lowered nearly 4".
