Ive got my 250sx ready to go for this fall riding season and now im thinking about trying to make a little pitbike/trail bike that I could take trail riding with me sometimes and mainly just to cruise around the house when Im not riding the 250sx. I was thinking about getting an older xr 80 or 100 and putting a bigger motor in it. Im thinking maybe a lifan or one of thoughs type motors. I would like to have a little xtra power to play with. Other motor suggestions are appreciated too...thanx guys

Xr100's Are sweet especially if your a taller guy like me. i cant fit on those little fifties. I would check out BBR motorsports they have been working with those motors for years and know how to make absolutley sick backyard bikes.

buy a 100...and just pump it up...Engines Only in San Jose are master specialists with a 100 engine...Powroll can build you a motor also..and BBR has stuff also.
Check out Planetminis.com..I'm a member there.
I'm personally 6ft 1" or so..and I can ride a stock mod 50 perfectly fine(just bigger bars thats all you need)..I ride stock suspension..215lbs...just got an 88 kit for it, skidplate, throttle, and a pipe..and jets.
100's are REALLY fun bikes though..toss stiffer springs in there, or work a CR80 front end on it..toss in a slightly heavier spring in the rear..then a 17/14 wheel combo..120 the motor, pipe, jet...bigger carb....WILL SCREAMMMM.
