I searched around and couldnt find much on this but i can fill my gear oil up and ride for about 10-15 minutes and when i look down it has blown about a half quart to a quart out of the breather and its kind of milky like it has water in it? When i check the level it is low. Does anybody have any ideas? Also where can i find a good manual for my trike?

There's water in your oil, more than likely from a bad water pump.

yup, couldnt be more dead on. Somehow the nut worked its way off the shaft and trashed the splines on the shaft and impellar (im guessing no locktite was used), chipped a piece off the impellar and jammed it so im looking at getting the whole assy. now

When I drained the oil from my '85 250R recently, it has the same appearance as you describe (milky light gray). The radiator is completely full though and I haven't added any coolant to it in a long time. Could it be something else or just a small amount of coolant in the transmission oil?

WATER CHANGES OIL TO GOO,,,, thats all it can be ,, water unless you run around in deep water it has to be from the radiator,, just remember if your still running an overflow tank,,,, the amount in that tank will ruin the trans oil... so if your low on water and it cools down it sucks water out of the tank so it looks like its always full!!! fire it up and ubder pressure it squirts back in to the trans ,,,,,
