Two things in one post:
Does anyone have pics of a zinger tank installed on a Z without the cover on it so I can see how it is held in place. I see some with the cover but can't see the detail on the installation. I picked up a tank and just looking for the best way to hook it up.

The bottom bolt on the engine that holds the case saver on is broken off inside the case. I used a 1/8 drill and drill it out some and tried to use an ease out bit to back it out but it won't give. Is heat the only other best option to removing the old bolt? Any one experience this problem?
Thanks

Search Bryan Raffa's Drag 490 Z project for tank pics..

That bottom bolt is not broken..They never drilled it from the factory. It is a dummy hole.
The factory case saver just rode on the shift shaft boss down low and had one bolt on the top..That is all.

You think it would be alright to tap out a small hole there so a metal case saver can fit there with two bolts instead of one? Plus there were two on the Z engine I took the saver off of. Maybe they had tapped it out also. That's why I thought the bolt had broken off in mine. Thanks

As long as you dont go too deep in the case. Yeah you will be fine.
Unfortunately, I dont know how much material there is to work with there.
I can only assume no more than a 1/4 inch deep, or you will go right thru the case and ruin the engine possibly.
