don't laugh I've seen those things with a 1/2 tonne of potatoes on the back going down the road at 60km (30mph) they're bullet proof - 2 stroke air cooled motor and they cost about 1000 bucks. over there everything is a utility machine not a sport bike, the same site has something called a "Farmer" I used that trike consulting on a pipeline for a couple years in Siberia (Yamal peninsula) and its still running today. Don't run down what you know nothing about.

Looks like independant rear suspension? by the way your signature picture is out of place here dont ya think man?

I would think the camber would level out when you get some weight on it. This kind of reminds me of the Ford TTB, when you lift the truck off the ground the positive camber will increase and when you drop it back down on the ground the camber will straighten out. If you remove the sway bar you can really see the pos camber with ttb. While the rear is not ascetically pleasing, with some bigger tires like a typical atc hard tails she may look good. I would love to get some racks like those rears and is that a spare tire under the rack? :w00t:

the second model is the "farmer" 200cc 2 stroke a tough little machine.
The "ant" (the first one) is a modified, copy built italian 2 stroke from Vespa Lambrietta, they dont need ATV tires they're road legal farm machines, they don't do well with bigger tires -- they don't have enough power to muck about with. We tried on the pipeline, they were fine for dry ground, and nearly useless in the mud, to low, to underpowered , rear end is center pinned with outbound shocks, a chain drive for both spindle axles, so if you break a chain you can still go home with one wheel drive. fan cooled upright motor on the "Farmer" normal type trike. similar to an old Sachs.
hey darrel are these by any chance importable to the states? im not interested but I was just woundering, I do think they are pretty cool and wouldnt mind having the first one here on the farm even better is the price!

they have them in AUS. I've seen older versions in GB and GER as well as eastern europe, I can't see why not, if you bought a container load of them as Agricultural equipment rather than ATC's there shouldn't be an import ban on them any more than 3 wheel golf carts, just don't try to import them as recreation vehicles.
If you want some real fun look up TREKOL and BRONTO I loved running those around when I was there.
Good to see you around, I've been off for a while.

I don't think it's out of place at all, we do have a quad forum too you know.

same to you man, its interesting that they still would make them any way, I would never be interested in trying to get a whole container full but if some got here I would be interested, these are 2 stokes right? are they based off any other manufacturers engines? Ive seen some russian bikes and they look like they have a knock off kawasaki h1 and h2 motors

the "proper" trike is based off a DKW / sachs motor, doesn't rev real high runs a PVT type system, independant rear suspension, signal lights and DOT rated 5 ply tires, sideways kicker and electric start
The "ANT" is based on a real old Vespa / Lambrietta 2 stroke scooter motor, CVT, and on some; a switchable jackshaft system for a 2 speed read end, they commonly use corn oil as there 2 stroke motor oil, I've done it, never had an issue They are licenced as road legal vehicles over there -you see them all the time. The "Farmer" 3 wheeler isn't very common but.. you find them in different areas usually the oil patch or down on the Caspian where there is lots of sand.
