IMS or Clarke Over sized gas tank?

What gas tank is this?

WOW! That thing must be one of the older dessert tanks from the 80's that hold 7.9 gallons.

Really? Any ideas who made it? I love the huge look to the tank. Makes it look like a super bike.

I've got a red one in the garage. It holds dang near 4.5 gallons

A closer look at the gas cap is usually the tell of the maker . Clark liked to sign their caps and under the tank also were IMS didnt .

That looks exactly like the IMS4 gallon desert tank that I have in black.

Sorry guys got no camera any more. Under the tank it looks like it reads atc 25 but the 5 is upside down.

I'd go with IMS, that's what the one I have at home is.
