its probably rusted on. use some wd 40 ,or some other stuff and let it sit for a while, and tap it slightly and it should move a bit.

I had the same problem with my 83 200e rear brakes. I soaked the drum with liquid wrench and let it sit for a day.

After trying for a day or two I wound up sticking a screwdriver in the round openings and pried it off. I also hit the drum a few times with a hammer to loosen things up a little.

It was not easy and I broke some chips off of the drum but I got it off.

Hitting it with a hammer or a mallet worked the best for me. I really didnt need to pry it.

If you can find some Halls rust breaker, out it on and let it sit for a couple hours and then rap it a few tims on the face with a hammer. That is what I did when I had the same problem an a 185S drum.

I had the same problem with my 200e. All you have to do is go buy a large flywheel puller. Then make 3 extensions for the "arms" of the puller (in order to reach the drum from the end of the axle). The drum will come right off, a lot easier then hammering on it. A cheap flywheel puller does not cost that much.
