what's up?
I've been a long time fan of motorcycles and quads...even at the young age of 19 years old..currently got a xr50, and a cr125...and my newest project...the neglected 200x that has been sitting since 1987...my father is the original owner of it.
I have a few pictures of it on my photobucket, but their website isn't currently working..
the trike is slightly modified..it was setup for TT dirt track racing...my father bought it brand new in 84..slapped some parts on it and took it racing the next weekend:lol:
Eventually..it got more and more parts...cut tank, cut stops..and some other goodies..
including a full Powroll built engine..ported, stroked, and everything goody you can imagine..it runs on 104 octane minimum or it will ping like a bat out of hell.
Long story short..that motor is going in my fathers 230f...and I'm stuck without a motor..I'm on the hunt for a Xr200 that I could slap in there..toss in a X shaft and sidecover so it can kick forward..with just a few parts..jet it, throw a DG on it..and call it a day..the bike will only be ridden in the sand anyway.
Once I finish school...I'm gonna rip it all apart again, and do it the way that I originally planned doing it...cut the frame, cradle it, and toss in a XR650R watercooled:naughty:
definetely will need a +4 or somethin swinger then:Bounce
Anyways, I'll post pictures soon as I can..it's all ripped apart and getting cleaned..and worked on part by part..sending the frame and swinger to my buddies work tomorrow to get it blasted...and probably gonna have it sprayed Yama blue..since I can get that done instantly and free...and I don't have the patience nor funds to pay for anything else..since his work is backed up so far.
