any one know anything about the suzuki ds 80 its a 1979 i think

i am havin trouble getting this thing to run. i am a 4 stroke guy, how exactly should the carb be adjusted and do i just run normal gas in it? what kinda of oil do i use? and what was the best manual they made?

There fun!! They ran oil injection if i remember right, tank should be under one of the side pannels, Check to see if the pump is still hooked up also, If not Run pre-mix and make sure the little port on the intake tract for the old oil line is plugged. Run 10-30 in the trans, Start with 1.5 turns on the air-screw 3 on the idle screw, and the slide needle Have the E clip in the middle notch...should get you close, Also New sparkplug!!!

I agree,we had 2 of them a 79 and a 2000,they ran great and pretty reliable

haha that was my 1st dirtbike i ever had after a couple small minibikes .. think mine was a 85 or 86 that thing was a blast and after i put a aftermarket silencer on it , it really opened her up ... TONS OF FUN !!!
