Hey i have just decided to keep the R. I'm gonna get a dg pipe next, clutch disc, and then jet it. Maybe get a bigger carb like 32mm carb the stock ones on the 82 R's, are only 27mm thats tiny so i might get a bigger carb. And then i might get wheel spacers but thats a maybe there 110 bucks and it increase the length by 2.5 inches would that help a lot or not. What else can I do to this?

What else can you do? How about fix your bent forks???

Wheel Spacers add stability. Another Plus it's easy to go back to stock width.

:-D

I put the new forks on last week and they made a huge difference i can turn so much better lol. I was thinking trikes where hard to turn but then i got new forks and I was the damn its easy now. WOuld the wheel spacers help with turning a lot or not very much.

Wheel spacers keep you from two-wheeling quite as easy and they add to the slideability of your ride.

I also recommend a rear tire change. Go to an 18 or 20 rear tire.

I've always liked this pic. Shoot for this look! :-D

That's Steve "Too-Tight" Wright from the early days of ATV racing.

Thats a cool pic im not gonna extend my swingarm now it cost so much money to do that. All prolly just get aftermarket aluminum swing arm. I wonder if I can put a 85 250r back end on it that would be cool.

When i go riding next I need to get some photos of me in action and my dad. And then all get photos of the 400ex vs 82 250r. Not this weekend or next weekend but the next weekend after that hopefully i will go to sand lake I cant wait.

yes that is Steve Wright but that is not a 82 250R. look closly at the cylinder. if i'm not mistaken thats is one of the factory custom 125's or first 200R's.

Manney an extended swingarm is less expensive (500.00) then an aluminum one (650.00)

also good luck finding an aluminum swingarm ;) ;) ;)

no you can't put a 85 swingarm on a 82. chain and sprockets/brake are on the other side

thats right but still cant you just switch it around or something just put the sprocket on the other side.
