trike vs. quad

Me and a buddy of mine got into a wheeler conversation today, and we got to thinking what would win a race. a stock 250r against a stock yfz450. who would win? on youtube every race ive watched the 250r just owns everything. anyone ever really witnessed a race or know for a fact who would win?

Stock v/s Stock......In my opinion in a 300 foot drag race, the 450 should win hands down! I have raced tons of them with my Tecate, and buy no means are the 450's slow. They make tons of power everywhere.....that being said, my Tecate runs pretty strong and is no where near stock, the 450's are right there with me.....I have won most and lost some!

It's all about who's better on the throttle and clutch. Seems like both bikes would have equal power to weight about, so it depends on who can hit the throttle the fastest, and shift the best at the right time, which is why it's best to do multiple races and tally it up.

stock Raptor 700 EFI VS 86 250r with FMF pipe = dead even but not to make excuses I'm been having jetting problems and followed FMF spec for sea level I found that I needed to go from a 42 slow jet to a 45 and a 145 main to a 152. Now I would say Raptor has no chance in hell

stock for stock? no. If this was a trx450r then maybe. But look at it this way, a 24-25 year old machine can still keep up with modern bikes and with work it can beat modern bikes.
