Hey I wondering if someone could help me out.

I have a 1986 trx200sx with a torn tire on the rear. I have found some replacement used tires that are 22x10-8 but I think they are tubeless. Could I still use these with tubes on my original rims? I hear people say they will rip the valve stem off when they try to spin? anyone have any experience with this?

Oh the tires I am looking at are at this link if it helps

why do u need to use a tube if your going with a new tire? shouldn't need one.
i have ran tubes, and if installed properly they work great with no problems.
I also had a 1986 trx200sx, my first quad. it was alot of fun and memories =)

Yea your right.. I just took at the tires I have on there last night and it says tubeless right on the side:wondering. The bead on this thing is all bent up yet it is sealing these tires well. I hope I can get a good seal with the new tires im going to use the starter fluid method of seating the bead :D.

good luck with that, but if your going to spend your money on new tires you might want to go the safer way and use a compressor and use the starter fluid as a back up.
but let us know how it works, i have never used that method. get it on video, that would be cool. =)

if the compresser isnt pushing the beads out wrap a rachet strap around the tire in the center it will help get the beads seated watch out with that starter fluid easy to get damage or hurt

ive never had any luck with the starter fluid.....a ratchet strap and compressor does the trick!
