I recover my own seats and I am wanting to use a stencil to add lettering. I know from buying spray bombed bikes that spray paint does not usually work and just leaves a sticky smudged mess. Has anyone painted on Vinyl and had good long lasting results? If so, what type of paint did you use?:wondering

Thanks!

I think that I may have asked a dumb question, but I know that some of the guys here have stenciled seats.

My uncle used to have a vinyl repair business. Sorry I don't know the brand but he had about a 100 glass jars with paint in the back of his truck, he used an air brush. The stuff held up incredibly well. I had an old VW bug with 3 colored seats in it. He painted them all black for me and 2 years later they still looked like new seats. They do have it in rattle cans and from what I have herd it holds up well.
