So I have the seat cover off and the foam off as well. Generally the foam is in pretty good condition considering the age. The only real damage is on top where I had a rip in the cover and actually started to rip my foam thats about 2 inches long and about 0.5 inches deep. Basically I am looking for an easy fix to fill in the cracks and fluffen up the seat a bit to especially around the gas tank. What is a good way to fluffen up the seat and fix some of the cracks in the foam itself?

See Tammy Mosher and get you one of her Hi Flite Desert seats with the new cover and thicker foam. I can't find a pic of my 350x Hi Flite Desert seat, but this one should give you an idea of the seat being thicker front to back. New cover, new foam and they even install it on your pan for you. It doesn't hardly get any better than that. I thought the cost was reasonable as well.

I've seen one of those Hi-Flite Desert Seats and they are nice. When I recovered my seat on my X, I bought some good quality, thin foam, it was white and I think I got it at a fabric shop. I cut a piece the right size and covered my old foam before I put my cover on. It takes some time to trim it right and massage around to keep it tight while you put the cover on but mine came out great. And make sure your staples aren't too long or you will ruin your new cover.

wrap it with quilt batting if there are no big chunks missing. it will work sweet.
