This may seem crazy but that looks like an exhaust off of a 90's KDX200 dirt bike. The sticker is on the wrong side. Roll it a little and the first bend points up and then it comes out the right side. I had the same one on my bike.

That is an Answer or Cobra pipe for a tri-Z. Maybe even Phase 5

It could be a DG but The spring hooks are usually closed in a solid loop on the DG's.
That one has U hooks for the springs, which usually was trademark of Answer and Cobra systems.

It is really hard to tell the difference between the 3.

You can see the Phase 5 has less of a bend going to the silencer and is slightly thinner in the volume area.

okay just to get this clear, i know its a tri -z pipe thats why im buying it, for a tri-z! guy wants 100 bucks for it, just said it didnt have any markings or anything on it, i knew most of the d.g's had a badge welded to them so i didnt know what it was, what exactly is a phase 5 pipe? and the answer and cobra are okay right? from what ive heard bassani is the bomb, but whatever i dont care, im just happy with a full aftermarket exhaust.

Phase 5 was a company that made pipes back in the day.

The DG has a harder low and mid hit to it.
But some of the older DG's did not have the badge..So that is where Z pipe identification gets tough.

The phase 5 and cobra has a lil smoother spread and revs out a little more on the top end.
That is my experience with them.

Either way, finding a good silencer for a Z will cost 50 bux at least.
For 100$ I would jump on it.

i plan on it for sure, he lives right by the guy im buying a rear shock from, which is about 3 hrs away, next week im driving down to pick em both up.
