Ok so I'm starting my winter project alittle early this year, I already have my cylinder off my 85 Tri-z for a fresh top end and I need to know what I can do to keep the 90 degree elbow fitting that runs to the fuel pump on the right side of the cylinder in tight? It would pop off when riding and lean it out causing the bike to rev out all the way. Is there any kind of adhesive product out there I can use thats going to hold up to oil and gas exposure? Anyone ever have this problem?:wondering

Good ??? never had that problem yet, have you thought of tapping the hole and threading the elbow with some help of lock tight to seal it??

I used some 2 part expoxy on mine...if i remember right, seems to hold up fine.

I'll prolly look for some type of epoxy. I think I will also try to fab up a little bracket that mounts on one of the studs on the bottom of the cylinder that will keep some tension on the fitting. Its a hell of a feeling to never know when your bikes going to start reving to the moon, can never be to safe I guess.
