head swap ?

ok hope this is not a dumb question but will the top end off a Chinese atv fit my Honda 70 three wheeler it says its 107 cc but I have others that little smaller. I just don't have all the wiring or I would put the whole motor on it.

k thanks . been trying to figure out why its back firing through carb. will only run with choke on.

runs only with choke? Fuel restriction, did you clean all the jets and passages very well when you had the carb off? It is probably running lean too.

yeah I tool carb off and used torch cleaning tool to make sure jets were open. won't run at all with choke off.

Could still running lean from something else. Intake leak? Did you blow out the passages in the carb with compressed air from an air compressor, those cans of air don't usually have enough oomph to blow out clogged passages.

The key point is that the machine only runs with the choke closed so its in a lean situation. The closing of the choke richens up the mixture to allow the engine to run.

ok going to try clean one more time and going to soak it this time and replace intake gasket. trying to get it running enough to try and buy or make a swing arm and find some triple trees them do engine swap . then play with those Chinese wheelers. LOL
