Does anyone have pics. of a +12 swing arm for a Tri-z with closeups of the mods done for the shock hook up. Does the raptor have the reserve tank on the shock with the right length to fit where the stock tank mounts? I could set the correct height in the new mod.
Thanks

If you are in need of a 12" arm, you had better contact Cory Sprock or atc Eric. They had all of the jigs made of a year or so ago for any length desired. Stretching your own almost always ends up being a compromise and not very appealing in the looks dept..... HRR made 3-12" and 1-6" Tri-z arms. But sadly, no more will ever be produced. To my knowledge there are no other companies making Tri-z stretch arms either. Sprocks are nice, as i have seen them in person.....

Thanks. I already have the arm stretched and am using it without a shock, I want to see how others have welded the connection point to make the shock work, I can't get a clear view of the mantis to see what they did on it. Thought someone else might have a pic.

Not a 12..But HRR did this one, and you can see what he did with the mount.
There is some mathematical formula for the mount extension, to keep your ride height correct that is different for every extra inch you add.

Ronnie, had it down to a science..Sadly the info will remain with him.

As with any OEM stretch arm, the link points of the arm need to remain in the stock location for all pieces of the suspension to work properly. All work must be done behind the linkeage position. The HRR arms use all oem linkeage, and shock.

Actually, I "think" I remember Ronnie told me he added some material forward on the linkage mount, so the stock suspension wont sag too much with the extra leverage. On my plus 4, It was very slight, but it varies on every application. I would have to measure to be sure.

Here is a link with some really good pics of one of his plus 12 aluminum masterpieces.

What would u need a 12 over for? With hardly any weight on the rear tires, getting a 12 over to hook right on the track will be near impossible.

It was that way when I bought it and I want to hook the shock back up to it.
Maybe you can see from the photo. Just a bat holding up the bike. I may need to shorten it up some.
