Looks pretty sharp; you could easily spend that much rebuilding a rough one. Tires, bearings, cables, hardware all add up quick! $$$!

Nice but I would rather put my 1600 to better use.

Why does everyone on this site think that three wheelers are so easy and cheap to come by? So many remarks on these forums like, "don't pay that much", "talk him down", you could always get more for less kinda crap. Just because you got a deal one time 5 years ago does not mean that's the price your gonna find anywhere, any time. A perfect unit like that could easily be worth 1600 to the right buyer. If it's all original and truely untouched it looks like a good deal. Cuz like "Name Brand" said, you could easily spend that much to restore one.

If it truly is a low milage, garage kept 84 big red. Then I'd say its a good deal. For mine, I paid $1000 for it. And easily have another $1500 in it over the 3 years Ive owned it. It wasn't low milage and was ran hard and put away wet more than a few times.

All original and untouched yes, they certainly are worth more money, but if they're used, have miles on the engine, never had an oil change, tires are all worn down, powdercoating is fading, and so on and so forth, the value of the machine is much less.

Collectors are a small minority of trike owners. Collector mentality does happen to be hard core compared to normal owners. WIth that said, most people who own trikes are riders and don't really care about collectablity. I have bought 9 trikes in the last 6 months. I started out with a YT125 and a ATC110 for 50 bux. I then started buying more trikes and all have been under 200 except for one and not one has been a "parts trike". None of mine are for collecting, they are all for riding and playing around.

So would I pay 1600 for a mint trike? No way, I would much rather pay 1600 for a bigger 4wd quad with a plow. If I really was going to pay a grand for a trike, I would want one that is fast and has full race type suspension such as a 250r, etc.

Most new trike owners seem to be to me to be the "more bang for the buck" type of people. We want to get something fun for cheap.

I myself am more of a "I'd rather pay for a trike than anything else" kind of person, so the price doesn't bother me as long as it's fair. Trikes being less expensive than other machines is just a bonus :)

Front tire is off a 250es.its hard to tell but the seat cover looks like it has some weird wrinkles like a aftermarket cover... but in alaska when its 40 below 0 i suppose seat covers crack easy! look pretty orignal but the tires i also question as stock? at $1,600 its pretty top dollar but not a rip off if its as mint as claimed, my 2 cents spend them as you will =)

Looks like a nice ride to me...if it's what you wanted and you like it, that is all that matters...if you feel like you got a good deal, then you did...I spent WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much for my 650 Prairie but that's what I wanted and I wanted it to be camo...it's all about what you like...I'd say good find from a true Honda trike fan...
