i have a 85 200x, and im wondering do i have to pull in the clutch every time i want to switch gears?

Yes, much in the same way you need to use the clutch on a manual vehicle ;)

you CAN shift without the clutch, but stuff will break eventually if you do that :lol:

like stated its just like a manual car or even a motorcycle... in theory and i know you hear people saying this if you find the "sweet spot" on the throttle you can smooth shift without a clutch but it is NOT RECOMMENDED. as with anything if it was made to shift without a clutch it wouldn't have one. if you do do it you put more stress and wear on trailprotrailpro engine and of course increase your risk of breaking things and ruining trailprotrailpro trike... again not recommended just use it all the time
