I heard awhile back the ATC head was different so plug changes were easier. Is there something I should ask about. Thanks

all esr heads are the same.. plug is straight up,,, with a spacer plate it makes plug changes a pain in the ATC chassis... but it can be done

I cut my ignition and filed it so that it is probably about 1 inch shorter than stock. This makes for very easy spark plug replacement. The connection that "snaps" into place onto the plug is way up in there and I haven't had any ill effects running it this way.

Thats good and all, But the problem is the with the coolhead putting the plug straight and a 0.250" spacerplate the sparkplug will hit the frame and will not physically fit in the frame So cutting the cap will not solve the problem of the plug not having enough room, Now if yout plug is just tight and can clear cutting the rubber might help some.

I run the 265 Duncan PV cylinder with a cool head and a spacer plate.

IT is TIGHT! Like I need a wrench just to pry it off the top of the plug. It has to "bend" around the frame to make it work.

Ive ran 1.5 seasons on this so far and it hath worked. But I would reccomend getting the shorty plugs. That is my next plan of attack.
