And you could do what I did. I had to cross a pretty deep creek, so i took some two of those water cooler sized plastic bottles, and strapped them on my trike. When matched with the balloon tires, it pretty much floated high and dry, but you really have to be careful if your in moving water.

One between the trailer hitch and rear rack, two at that level at the pegs, and one above the front wheel, incase I started to nosedive, but it was never necessary.
