my 84 200x rear shock has a white bros sticker/decal on the resivor. how can i tell if its a white bros shock or if someone in the past just a sticker on it?

thanks everyone ill try photobucket. no the spring on mine looks stock to me and its red. also the white bros sticker is a diffrent design

The one you have there appears to be a stock spring, if you notice on the pic that Shortline posted, a Whitebros Shock spring has a consistent spacing and diameter. I know this also because I have one on my 200x as well. The pic that you posted more closely resembles a stock spring which you can tell by the tighter coiling on the end. I would need to see a better pic in order to determine whether or not the rest of the shock assembly is Whitebros or stock.

My guess would be that it was just serviced by WB . What swingarm was being used with this shock ?

Swing arm is stock. I'll get a better of the shock soon
