Looks good for a 14 year old sled! Too bad its a Yammi! lol, JK ;):beer

My brother in law had that same sled except no reverse back in 98 or so. He really liked it. Still regrets getting rid of it to this day

LOL, I was expecting a 2 wheeled street bike. I'd love to try one of those things on of these days, they look like a blast to ride but around here it hards to justify owning a 4X4 truck.

IM not sure about Yammi's specs, but my Doos call for 1 3/16 to 1 3/8 inch sag between the track clip and bottom of the slide, with 17lbs of downward force, centered between the rear idlers and the 1st idler on the rail near where the rails arc upward. I would guess that Yammi would work good with a similar tension setting....

Also, the previous owner may have been running the track that tight due to a clearance issue between the studs and heat exchangers in the tunnel. Make sure there are tunnel protectors if applicable and that the studs cant contact the tunnel or heat exhchangers when the track balloons out at high speed...

I had that same sled except mine wasnt an XT. Check the primary clutch. That could be causing the blown belts. Mine would eat a brand-new belt in a couple hours. I went through both clutches and adjusted them and then it was fine. It was a good sled although it sucked gas bad and the front suspension sucks. I mounted a rear skid out of a 1998 Ski-doo Mach-Z in mine and it increased the ride by a ton.

nice sled, I had a 94 Vmax 500 2 years ago, bought for $500 and rode it for 800+ miles and sold it that spring for $700, sled ran like a top and always started on 1st pull cold/warm, the only thing is the pogo stick front steering/suspension isn't the best

Nice sled. Looks like it cleaned up real nice. Hopefully someday we'll move back north once i'm done with the navy. I wouldn't mind getting one myself.
