well i decided to add the stroker crank to my 393 kit i ordered, and well i got a couple little stupid questions....

1) what size bolt holds the clutch in?
2) is the fly wheel bolt reverse thread?
3) whats needs to be done to lighten the fly wheel?

I got the engine out, and completly torn down to this point in good time and decided to stop since i got to work early and i wanna make sure i have the correct tools. thanx guys.

1) The basket bolt/nut? It's a large maybe 17mm nut that either has a washer folded over or is staked onto the shaft. If you mean pressure plate bolts, they are 6mm but IDK how long - most schematics when buying parts say 6x20mm and so on....... That should help you.

2) No, but the crank nut on the primary gear side is LH thread.

3) You need a mandrel or an old crank to get it turning round, stuff it in a lathe and lighten it. Don't cut off the piece embedded in the flywheel.
